Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council,
as highway authority, intend, under its relevant
powers, to make the following Order : U71234,
Sandyway Lane, Whitchurch, Temporary Road
Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by
vehicles on the U71234, Sandyway Lane, Whitchurch,
outside No 2 Fern Bank Cottages. Grid Ref: 353830
/ 216681. The alternative route for those affected by
the proposal is via the C1251 onto Sandiway Lane
and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to the safe
access to renew an existing stop tap works and the
likelihood of danger to the public while the works are
taking place. The said closure will come into force on
23rd of July 2018 and remain in force for a maximum
period of 18 months (unless extended with the
consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are
expected to be completed within 3 days. Any queries
