THE A590 TRUNK ROAD (BRETTARGH HOLT) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2018

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Highways England Company Limited (Company No. 09346363) has made an Order on the A590 Trunk Road in the District of South Lakeland in the County of Cumbria to enable lelectrical works and other general maintenance; to be carried out in safety. The Order will ban all traffic from the following sections of the A590 Trunk Road:

i. the westbound carriageway, from its junction with the Brettargh Holt Roundabout, to



the last point at which the exit slip road to Levens Lane leaves the carriageway;

ii. the eastbound carriageway, from the last point at which the exit slip road to Levens Lane leaves the carriageway, to its junction with Nannypie Lane (C5076).



The works are expected to be in place between 20:00 and 05:00 during a period starting on Monday 16 July 2018 and ending on Friday 20 July 2018. However, works may start and continue between the same times on subsequent nights until completed. Diversion routes via alternative junctions of the A590 and local roads will be well signed. The prohibitions will not apply to emergency services, works, or traffic officer vehicles, and will only apply during such times and to such extent as will be indicated by traffic signs.
