Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as
highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to
make the following Order : U93209, Dilwyn Common Road, Dilwyn, Temporary Road Closure Order, to
temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U93209,
Dilwyn Common Road, Dilwyn, between High Elms
junction to outside Oaklands. Grid Ref: 342923 /
255573. The alternative route for those affected by the
proposal is via The Pitch onto Watery Lane onto the
A4112 onto the B4457 onto High Elms and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to the safe access to
lay approximately 270m of new ducting works and the
likelihood of danger to the public while the works are
taking place. The said closure will come into force on
23rd of July 2018 and remain in force for a maximum
period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent
of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to
be completed within 2 weeks. Any queries in relation to
