The Borough of Blackburn with Darwen

(Dukes Brow, Blackburn) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2018

NOTICE is hereby given that the Blackburn with □arwen Borough Council, intend to make the above Order under Section 14 (1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to close Dukes Brow from its junction with Revidge road to its junction with Granville road. The closure is neccessary for the following reason: Installation of sewer monitoring equipment. The Order will come into force on 16th July 2018 and shall continue in force for a period of eighteen months or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 24th July 2018.

The alternative route for the affected traffic will be Dukes Brow, Preston New Road, Barbara Castle Way, Limbrick, Shear Brow, Revidge Road

Access for emergency vehicles and pedestrians

will be maintained at all times.
