BRACKNELL FOREST BOROUGH COUNCIL
(WOODSIDE ROAD, WINKFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2018
Notice is hereby given that Bracknell Forest Borough Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, in accordance with Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in any direction along Woodside Road between its junctions with B3034 Lovel Lane and the Borough boundary.
The alternative route for vehicles affected by this Order will be via B3034 Lovel Lane, A332 Mounts Hill and Woodside Road, or by this route reversed.
The purpose of this Order is to ensure public & workforce safely whilst works on a gas main is carried out.
The proposed Order will come into operation on the 16th July 2018 and although the Order will have a maximum duration of 6 months, it is currently programmed that the works requiring a road closure will be carried out between the 16th and 20th July 2018.
This Order shall only apply when the appropriate signs and markings are displayed in the road.
