(C2255 Kidderminster Road, Droitwich Spa)(Temporary Closure) Order 2018
Proposed Order: to close that part of C2255 Kidderminster Road, Droitwich Spa from
its junction with C2255 Salwarpe Road to its junction with A38 Roman Way in order
to facilitate carriageway works.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected
where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2255 Kidderminster Road, C2251 Salwarpe Road, C2254
Ombersley Way and Roman Way.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 nights (within a 3 week
period): Commencing: 23 July 2018.
(B4091 Worcester Road/Hanover Road, Bromsgrove)(Temporary Closure)
Order 2018
Proposed Order: to close that part of B4091 Worcester Road/Hanover Road,
Bromsgrove from its junction with A448 St John Street to its junction with C2164
Charford Road in order to facilitate carriageway works.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected
where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: A448 St John Street, B4184 Market Street, B4184 High Street, B4184
New Road, A38 Bromsgrove Eastern Bypass, A38 Redditch Road, B4094 Worcester
Road, B4091 Rock Hill and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 nights (within a 4 week
period): Commencing: 23 July 2018.
(B4185 Meadow Road, Catshill, Bromsgrove)(Temporary Closure) Order 2018
Proposed Order: to close that part of B4185 Meadow Road, Catshill, Bromsgrove
from its junction with B4091 Stourbridge Road to its junction with C2280 Wildmoor
Lane in order to facilitate carriageway works.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected
where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: B4185 Gibb Lane, Golden Cross Lane, A38 Birmingham Road,
A38 Halesowen Road, A491 Sandy Lane and B4091 Stourbridge Road.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days (within a 3 week period):
Commencing: 23 July 2018.
(Dodford Road, Bournheath)(Temporary Closure) Order 2018
Order made: to close that part of Dodford Road, Bournheath from its junction with
U21201 Fairfield Road to its junction with C2062 Doctors Hill in order to facilitate
Severn Trent works.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected
where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2062 Doctors Hill, U20009 Parish Hill, U21201 Fairfield Road and
vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 13 days: Commencing:
1 July 2018.
(C2173 Wheeley Road, Blackwell)(Temporary Closure) Order 2018
Proposed Order: to close that part of C2173 Wheeley Road, Blackwell from its
junction with U23222 Foxhill Lane to its junction with U22400 Scarfield Hill in order
to replace a Manhole frame and cover.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected
where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U23222 Foxhill Lane, U22400 Scarfield Hill and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days Commencing:
23 July 2018.
(C2076 Tagwell Road, Droitwich Spa)(Temporary Closure) Order 2018
Order made: to close that part of C2076 Tagwell Road, Droitwich Spa from its
junction with Jackdaw Lane to its junction with U42220 Tagwell Grange in order to
replace a manhole cover and frame by Severn Trent.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected
where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2076 Tagwell Road, Primsland Way, Addyes Way, A38 Worcester
Road, C2086 Pulley Lane, C2086 Newland Lane, C2076 Tagwell Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day Commencing:
29 June 2018.
(C1251 Linehouse Lane and Brookhouse Road, Lickey End) (30 Mph and 40 Mph
Speed Limit) Order 2018
On 14 June 2018 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which
will be to reduce the speed limit on the following length of road in Lickey End to
30 miles per hour:-
C1251 Linehouse Lane/Brookhouse Road from a point 13 metres southeast of the
centre line of its junction with Lickey Rock for a distance of 45 metres in a south
easterly direction.
40 miles per hour: – from a point 58 metres south east of the centre line of its
junction with Lickey Rock to a point 100 metres east of its junction with C2159
Littleheath Lane.
There are exemptions in the Order for Special Forces Vehicles.
The Order will come into operation on 5 July 2018.
A copy of the Order, relevant map and Statement of Reasons for making the Order
may be inspected at Bromsgrove District Council, Customer Service Centre, Parkside,
Market Street, Bromsgrove, B61 8DA, and County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester,
WR5 2NP during normal office hours.
