LICENSING ACT 2003 APPLICATION FOR A NEW PREMISES LICENCE
Name of Applicant: Rugby Football Union Postal Address of Premises: Twickenham Stadium (and RFU Ground), 200 Whltton Road, Twickenham, Middlesex TW2 7BA ("The Premises"] as identified on the plans lodged with the application. Proposed Licensable Activities (all as per existing Licence PL 052641): Regulated Entertainment (all categories except boxing and wrestling, and indoor sport); Sale of Alcohol & Late Night Refreshment during the same (maximum) hours as currently apply under the existing Premises Licence (PL 052641); actual hours vary depending on Events/activities at the Premises. The new Premises Licence (if issued) will be in the same written terms as PL 052641; the only change is to the structure/layout of the East Stand. The new Licence will therefore incorporate the newly refurbished East Stand within the licensed premises as shown on the lodged plans. The current comprehensive bespoke licence conditions (including Noise Management conditions) will continue to apply. If the new Licence is granted as sought, Licence PL 052641 will be surrendered. Representations regarding this application may be made in writing by any Responsible Authority or interested party to the Licensing Authority, London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, Civic Centre, 44 York Street, Twickenham, TW1 3BZ (or emailed to licenslng@richmond.gov.uk) by: 12 July 2018 (the application having been given on 14 June 2018). All representations made are open to public inspection. This application has been made to the Licensing Authority above where a register of applications is kept and a record of the application may be inspected. The register can be Inspected on-line at www.richmond.gov.uk. Any representations made must relate to one of the 4 Licensing Objectives namely the prevention of crime and disorder; public safety; the prevention of public nuisance and the protection of children from harm. Under S158 of the Licensing Act 2003 a person commits an offence if he knowingly or recklessly makes a false statement In connection with an application. On summary conviction the maximum fine for the offence Is £5,000.
