BURY COUNCIL -ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14(1) THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (VARIOUS SIDE ROADS OFF BUTTERSTILE LANE, PRESTWICH) TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2018
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles from proceeding along:-

Barnhill Road, Shrewsbury Road, Prestwich Hills, Sandy Meade, Sandy Lane, Carr Avenue, Woodward Road, Venwood Road, Bolton Close, Prestwich - at their junctions with Butterstile Lane. The reason for the proposed order is to enable carriageway resurfacing works to be carried out. Suitable diversion routes will be signed on site where applicable.
The Order comes into operation on Monday 25 June 2018 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 6 months, although the anticipated duration of the works is approximately 2 weeks. The closures will only be implemented as and when required.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury intend in not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles from proceeding along:-

The reason for the proposed order is to facilitate the delivery of a crawler crane and to enable sewer connection works to be carried out. The alternative route will be via Crow Lane, Bridge Street and Ramsbottom Lane and vice-versa.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles from proceeding along:-

Tommy Lane, Ainsworth - From its junction with Bury Old Road for a distance of 25 metres in a northerly direction.
The reason for the proposed order is for contractors to carry out manhole cover and repair works.
The alternative route will be via Bury Old Road, Duke Road and Well Street and vice-versa.
