Temporary Closure Of Public Footpath No 6, Portland
DORSET COUNTY COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic [Temporary Restrictions] Act 1991. All pedestrians will be prohibited from proceeding along Footpath No 6, Portland (The coastal footpath) from grid reference SY 6858 7290 to grid reference SY 6830 7254, a distance of approximately 475 metres, and also from grid reference SY 6821 7207 to grid reference SY 6800 7181, a distance of approximately 355 metres. The order is needed in order to comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will come into operation on the 25th June 2018, for a period of 26 weeks, until 24th December 2018. But it may be extended, with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport, if necessary. The order is required due to a landslip at both locations along the footpath.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Alternative routes are way marked - please follow the South West Coast Path Diversion signs.

Temporary Closure of Various Roads, Portland
DORSET COUNTY COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [I] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along Various Roads, Portland. The roads that will be closed are [a] Westcliff Road from the junction with Grangecroft Road, to the junction with Weston Service Road. [b] Yeolands from the junction with Westcliff Road, to the junction with Courtlands Road [c] Isle Road from the junction with Fouracres to the junction with Weston Service Road. [d] Grangecroft Road from the junction with Blacknor Road to approximately 36, Grangecroft Road. [e] Croft Road from the junction with Courtlands Road to approximately outside 129 Croft Road. [f] Courtbarton from the junction with Croft Road to the junction with Sharpitts, Portland.[g] Courtlands Road from 130 Courtlands Road to the junction with Yeolands Road, [h] Woolcoombe Road from the junction with Blackmoor Road to the junction with Courtland Road. [i] Blindmere Road from the junction with Woolcombe Road to approximately outside 17 Blindmere Road. [j] Blacknor Road from approximately no 49, Blacknor Road to no I Blacknor Road. [k] Barleycroft Road from the junction with Blacknor Road to the junction with Martinscroft Road [l] Martinscroft Road from the junctions with Barleycroft Road. [m] Bowers Road from its junction with Grangecroft Road. [n] Four Acres from the
junction with Westcliff Road and the junction with Isle Road. [o] Weston Road from the junction with Reforne to the junction with Avalanche Road. The order is needed in order to comply with Health and Safety Regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will come into operation on 25th June 2018 and will remain in force for 18 months. However it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 04th July 2018. The closure will be operational between 09:00hrs and I6:00hrs daily.
The road will be open outside of these times and also over the weekend. This order can be extended with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport if necessary. This order will enable Dorset County Council to carry out carriageway maintenance and resurfacing works.
A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.

Temporary Closure of Benville Bridge, Evershot
DORSET COUNTY COUNCIL has made an Order under Section I4 [I] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act I984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along BENVILLE BRIDGE, EVERSHOT from the junction with Benville Lane, Corscombe, a distance of approximately 60 metres. The order is needed in order to comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will come into operation on I8th June20I8 and will remain in force for I8 months. However it is anticipated that the works will be completed by I4th July 20I8.
This order will enable Dorset County Council safe access to replace fill to
brick arch bridge with fibre reinforced concrete and resurface road.
A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.

DORSET COUNTY COUNCIL has made an Order under Section I4 [I] of the Road Traffic Regulation Act I984, as amended by the Road Traffic [Temporary Restrictions]
Act I99I. All pedestrians will be prohibited from proceeding along footpath No34 Charminster, from grid reference SY 677 928 to grid reference SY 676
927 a distance of approximately 220 metres. The order is needed in order to comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will come into operation on I7June 20I8 for a period of 6 months. But it may be extended, with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport, if necessary.
The Order is required for Health and Safety reasons while Wyatt Homes construct new houses.
On this occasion there is no reasonable alternative route.

30, Charminster from grid reference SY 677 982 to grid reference SY 677 982 for a distance of approximately 190 metres. The order is needed to comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will come into operation on I7June 20I8 for a period of 26 weeks. But it may be extended, with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport, if necessary.
This closure is required for health and safety reasons while Wyatt Homes construct new houses.

The Borough of Weymouth and Portland (Waiting Restrictions) (Consolidation) Order 20II, (Amendment Order No., 201') Chapelhay Street and Portland Road,
Weymouth - Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting
Dorset County Council proposes to make an Order under Sections and (2), 2(I) to (3), 3(2), 4(I) to (3) and I24(I)(d) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act I984 ('the Act of I984') and the Traffic Management Act 2004 and of The Local Authorities' Traffic Orders (Procedure) (England and Wales) Regulations I996 and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with statutory requirement and in compliance with the I996 Regulations. The effect of the Order will be to extend the no waiting at anytime on Chapelhay Street and introduce a section of limited waiting on Portland Road near Foord's Corner. Full details of this proposal are contained in the Draft Order which, together with plans showing the lengths of roads affected and a statement of the County Council's reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be inspected from Monday to Friday during normal office hours at Main Reception, Dorset County Council, County Hall, Colliton Park,
Dorchester.
