Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the U65622, The Barrow, Cradley Temporary Closure Order 2018

to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles from the junction with Coombe Lane to the junction with Nupend Lane OS Grid Ref: 372073/24823. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the U65624 Nupend Lane onto the C1140 onto the U65623 Greenhill and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to the installation of a new water service connection and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 9th April 2018 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
