SOUTH LAKELAND DISTRICT COUNCIL TOWN POLICE CLAUSES ACT 1847
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to facilitate the Mayor's Sunday Parade, the South Lakeland District Council has made the under-mentioned Order THE DIVERSION OF TRAFFIC, KENDAL (MAYOR'S SUNDAY PARADE) ORDER 2018 Those streets in Kendal specified in the First Schedule hereto shall be closed to all vehicles save those vehicles involved in the Mayor's Sunday Parade, and emergency vehicles, during the period 9.45 am to 10.45 am on Sunday, 1 July 2018
Those streets in Kendal specified in the Second Schedule hereto shall be closed to all vehicles save those vehicles involved in the Mayor's Sunday Parade, and emergency vehicles, during the period 11.20 am to 12.20 pm It is anticipated however that the closure shall only be in operation for such period of time as is necessary to allow a procession to proceed along the route of those streets specified in the First Schedule and the Second Schedule The alternative routes to be observed by all vehicles other than those mentioned above shall be as specified in the Third Schedule hereto. THIS ORDER may be cited as "The Diversion of Traffic, Kendal (Mayor's Sunday Parade) Order 2018".
FIRST SCHEDULE From Stricklandgate (Library Road), Highgate, Kirkland (to Parish Church) SECOND SCHEDULE From Kirkland (Parish Church), Highgate, Stricklandgate (Library Road) THIRD SCHEDULE Such other routes as may appear practicable at the time in the opinion of any person responsible for the control of traffic.
