Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the B4348 From A465 To C1228 Haywood Road, Tram Inn Temporary Closure Order 2018 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles at the level crossing. OS Grid Ref: 346400 / 233587. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the A465, the A49, the A466 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to the routine maintenance testing of signal and crossing track and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 15th July 2018 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 1 night.
