20 MPH SPEED ZONE AND 30 MPH SPEED LIMIT VARIOUS ROADS STOW ON THE WOLD ORDER 2018
Notice is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984,
the effect of which will be to prohibit the driving of any motor vehicle at a speed exceeding 20 mph on the lengths of road
described in Schedule 1 below and 30 mph on the lengths of road described in Schedule 2 below.

20 MPH ZONE
Along part or the entire length on the following roads in Stow-On-The-Wold – A436, Back Walls, Bailey Close, Bartletts Park,
Camp Gardens, Chamberlayne Close, Chapel Street, Church Street, Condurrow Court, Digbeth Street, Eastview Close, Fisher
Close, Fox Lane, Glebe Close, Griffin Close, High Street, Jubilee Close, King Charles Place, King Georges Field, Kings Arms Lane,
Landgate Mews, Landgate Yard, Lower Park Street, Maugersbury Park, Maugersbury Road, Mount Pleasant Close, Oakeys Close,
Old Forge Lane, Parkland Mews, Parsons Corner, Queen Henrietta Place, Road From Parsons Corner To Hawthorn Cottages,
Shepherds Row, Shepherds Way, Spring Gardens, St Edwards Drive, St Edwards Road, Sterling Close, Stowe Green, The Bell,
The Park, The Square (Market Square), Union Street/Clifton Close, Well Lane, White Hart Lane and Wraggs Row.

30 MPH SPEED LIMIT
Along part or the entire length on the following roads in Stow-On-The-Wold - Chapel Street, Maugersbury Road, Stow-On-The-
Wold and in Maugersbury, and The Crescent.
The lengths of road fall within the Parish of Maugersbury and Stow on the Wold Town in the Cotswold District in the County of
Gloucestershire.
A copy of the Order which comes into effect on 28th June 2018 together with the relevant plan and statement of reasons may
be inspected during normal office hours at the Gloucestershire County Council, Shire Hall, Westgate Street, Gloucestershire,
GL1 2TG, Stow on the Wold Library, St Edwards Hall, The Square, Stow on the Wold, GL54 1AF and Stow on the Wold Council

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any provision contained in it on the ground that it is not within the
powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the ground that any requirement to that Act or any Statutory
Instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order may within six weeks of the date on which the
Order is made, apply to the High Court for this purpose.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF A429 STRATFORD ROAD AND A429 ASTON MAGNA JUNCTION TO BATSFORD JUNCTION,
(BATSFORD AND BLOCKLEY PARISHES) COTSWOLD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close
part of the A429 Stratford Road and A429 Aston Magna Junction to Batsford Junction, from its junction with 3/127 Todenham
Road to the junction with 3/125 Stow Road to Vicarage Road, Aston Magna for a distance of approximately 3.5 kilometres.
The reason for the closure is for carriageway resurfacing.
The road is expected to be closed from 25th June 2018 until 18th July 2018 only or until the works have been completed.

temporarily close part of the 3/125 Draycott Road from the junction 405638 The Dell in an easterly direction for a distance of
approximately 260 metres.
The reason for the closure is to install new HV and LV cables in the carriageway.
The road is expected to be closed from 2nd July 2018 until 3rd August 2018 only or until the works have been completed.
