ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 (as Amended) - SECTION 14(1) THE COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF ST. HELENS [VARIOUS ROADS, NEWTON-le-WILLOWS) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER NO.1,2018

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the St. Helens Borough Council propose not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an order under the provisions of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as Amended), the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicles to proceed in either direction along the roads listed below, as and when directed by road traffic signs on-site.

ALFRED STREET MILL LANE (A49)

The Order will come into force on Monday 2nd July, 2018, and will have a maximum duration of eighteen months, but will terminate on completion of the works, which is expected to be three months.

The reason for making this Order is to facilitate the reconstruction of Alfred Street to serve the new 'Park and Ride' system.
