Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: U91604, Horseway Head, Staunton On Arrow , Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U91604, Horseway Head, Staunton On Arrow, Approximately 50m South of the junction with Lee Lane. Grid Ref: 336735 / 260380. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the U91606 onto the U91607 Stansbatch onto the B4355 onto the U91604 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to the installation of two service ducts and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 16th of July 2018 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 1 day.
