Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (Kidderminster Road, Droitwich)(Temporary Closure) Order 2018
Proposed Order: to close that part of Kidderminster Road, Droitwich from its junction
with U41701 Vines Lane to its junction with U41705 Union Lane in order to facilitate
Severn Trent works.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected
where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U41705 Union Lane, C2254 Ombersley Way, C2255 Salwarpe Road,
U41701 Kidderminster Road.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days Commencing:
16 July 2018.
(Chatley Lane, Hawford)(Temporary Closure) Order 2018
Order made: to close that part of Chatley Lane, Hawford from its junction with C2086
Main Road to its junction with A449 Ombersley Road in order to facilitate carriageway
resurfacing works.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected
where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2086 Main Road, A449 dual (southbound) Ombersley Road, A449
Claines Roundabout and A449 dual (northbound) Ombersley Road.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days (within a 4 week period).
Commencing: 22 June 2018.
(C2157 Linthurst Newtown, Blackwell)(Temporary Closure) Order 2018
Proposed Order: to close that part of C2157 Linthurst Newtown, Blackwell from
its junction with C2174 Blackwell Road to its junction with Station Road in order
to install new BT Openreach ducting works.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected
where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2174 Blackwell Road, C2173 Blackwell Road, C2157 Alcester
Road, C2157 Greenhill and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days Commencing:
12 July 2018.
(Foley Gardens, Stoke Prior)(Temporary Closure) Order 2018
Proposed Order: to close that part of Foley Gardens, Stoke Prior from its junction
with B4091 Hanbury Road for a distance of 129 metres in a south westerly in order
to install electrical low voltage cables by Western Power.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected
where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: B4091 Hanbury Road, Foley Gardens and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 10 days Commencing:
16 July 2018.
(Valley Road, Worms Ash)(Temporary Closure) Order 2018
Proposed Order: to close that part of Valley Road, Worms Ash from its junction
with C2062 Doctors Hill for a distance of 255 metres in a southerly direction in order
to facilitate Severn Trent works.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected
where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: Rocky Lane C2062, Stourbridge Road B4091, Perryfields Road
U21000, Fockbury Mill Lane U21204, Snakes Lake Lane U21204, Bromsgrove Road
U21202, Valley Road U21201 and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days Commencing:
16 July 2018.
(U23221 Sandhills Lane, Barnt Green)(Temporary Closure) Order 2018
Order made: to close that part of U23221 Sandhills Lane, Barnt Green from its junction
with C2174 Hewell Road to its junction with C2161 Sandhills Road in order to facilitate
carriageway resurfacing works.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected
where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2174 Hewell Road and C2161 Sandhills Road.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days (within a 4 week period)
Commencing: 25 June 2018.
(Santridge Lane, Bromsgrove)(Temporary Closure) Order 2018
Order made: to close that part of Santridge Lane, Bromsgrove from its junction with
The Flats for a distance of 80 metres in a northerly direction in order to facilitate
works to replace street lighting.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected
where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: Santridge Lane, B4091 Stourbridge Road, Bewell Head, Santridge
Lane and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day Commencing:
25 June 2018.
(C2157 Greenhill, Blackwell)(Temporary Closure) Order 2018
Order made: to close that part of C2157 Greenhill, Blackwell in two sections:-
(a) From its junction with B4096 Alcester Road for a distance of 421 metres in a north
easterly direction.
(b) From its junction with Station Road for a distance of 306 metres in a south westerly
direction.
The Order has been made to facilitate works for the installation of a carriageway
frame and cover by Grub Construction Ltd.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected
where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2157 Linthurst Newtown, C2174 Blackwell Road, C2173 Blackwell
Road, Hollow Tree Lane, B4096 Hewell Lane and B4096 Alcester Road.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days Commencing:
25 June 2018.
