AVENUE ROAD AND COWPER GARDENS N14 -TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in order to facilitate essential works in Avenue Road and Cowper Gardens N14 the Council of the London Borough of Enfield have made the Enfield (Avenue Road and Cowper Gardens) (No. 2) Order 2018 under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. [Note: this Order continues the effect of a Notice dated 18 June 2018 given under section 14(2)(b) of the said Act].

2. The effect of the Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles, as and when directed by traffic signs, as indicated in Schedule below.

3. The prohibitions referred to in paragraph 2 will not apply to works vehicles or, if the works allow, to police or emergency services' vehicles.

4 The prohibitions will come into operation on 22 June 2018 and will continue in force for 18 months or until such time as the works have been completed whichever is sooner.
5. Whilst the prohibitions on the roads detailed in the schedule to this notice remain in force, the diversion route will be as detailed below.
