DARLINGTON BOROUGH COUNCIL
CHESNUT STREET, DARLINGTON
(ROAD CLOSURE), ORDER 2018
Darlington Borough Council intend not less than seven
days from the date of this notice to make an Order
under the provisions of Section 14(1) of the Road
Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, the effect of
which will be to close:
CHESNUT STREET
From the east side of its junction with Weir Street eastwards
to its junction with Valley Street North
An alternative route will be signed via Northgate,
John Street, Valley Street North and vice versa.
The Order is necessary to allow renewal of a water main.
The maximum duration of the temporary closure under
this Order is 18 months commencing from 23rd July
2018, it is anticipated that the closure will be effective
for 3 weeks.
