The following planning applications are those affecting the setting of a Listed Building, a Conservation
Area, a Public Right of Way, or major applications and are available to view on our website. Views
relating to the planning applications listed below should be made by 06/07/2018 quoting the

Section 14(1) and Section 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to:
Close temporarily to all traffic: Kingston Road (Part), Bradford on Avon; from its junction with
B3107 Silver Street to its junction with Mill Lane; and to temporarily suspend the existing one-way
Order on Mill Lane, Bradford on Avon; and to temporarily implement a one-way traffic restriction
permitting northbound traffic only on Mill Lane, Bradford on Avon. The effect of the Orders
will be to invert the one-way traffic restriction on Mill Lane to facilitate for diversion for traffic.
To enable: Wessex Water to undertake standard connection works. Alternative route via B3107 Silver
Street – Bridge Yard – Norden – Kingston Road (unaffected length) – Mill Lane. The closure and
diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on
10 July 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 12 July 2018. It is anticipated
that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access
will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the
nature of the works. The Orders will have a maximum duration of 18 months. For further information

Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic:
(a) Top Lane (Part), Whitley, Melksham Without; from a point level with property 103B for
a distance of approximately 50m in an easterly direction to enable Ringway to undertake work to
construct a new bus stop and hard standing area. Alternative route via Top Lane (unaffected length) –
Middle Lane – B3353 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 9 July 2018 and it is
anticipated that the closure will be required until 13 July 2018. For further information please contact
Sarah Dearden (Wiltshire Council) on 01225 713456; (b) Netherstreet (Part), Bromham; from its
junction with A342 for a distance of approximately 90m in a easterly direction to enable Wessex Water
to carry out water main replacement works. Alternative route via Netherstreet (unaffected length) –
Yard Lane – A342 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 9 July 2018 and it is anticipated
that the closure will be required until 7 September 2018. For further information please contact

from its junction with Footpath 6, Dilton Marsh for a distance of approximately 50m in a southeasterly
direction to a point adjacent property no. 30 to enable Wessex Water to excavate trial holes.
Alternative route via Fairwood Road (unaffected length) – Brokerswood – Rudge Lane – A36 – B3099
and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 12 July 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure
will be required until 16 July 2018. For further information please contact Simon Phillips (Wessex
Water) on 0345 6004600; (d) Spirthill (Part), Bremhill; from a point level with the property ‘Naish
House’ for a distance of approximately 70m in a northerly direction to enable Wessex Water to carry
out standard connection works. Alternative route via Spirthill (unaffected length) – Charlcutt – Hare
Street – West End – Foxham and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 9 July 2018 and it is
anticipated that the closure will be required until 11 July 2018. For further information please contact

made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: (e) Belcombe Road (Part), Winsley; from a point
level with property no. 268 for a distance of approximately 170m in a westerly direction to enable
Wessex Water to carry out interim to permanent reinstatement work. No alternative route is available.
This Order will come into operation on 20 June 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be
required until 22 June 2018. For further information please contact Tom Wysocki (Wessex Water) on
0345 600 4 600; (f) Lower Westwood Road (Part), Westwood; from its junction with Orchard
Close for a distance of approximately 20m in a westerly direction to enable Wessex Water to undertake
works to repair/replace valve. Alternative route via Lower Westwood Road (unaffected length) – Upper
Westwood Road – Upper Westwood Village Road – Iford Road – Lower Westwood Road (unaffected
length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 18 June 2018 and it is anticipated that
the closure will be required until 20 June 2018. For further information please contact Simon Phillips
(Wessex Water) on 03456004600. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated
by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated durations to complete depending
