NOTICE OF MAKING OF A PUBLIC PATH ORDER HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 NORTH YORK MOORS NATIONAL PARK AUTHORITY FOOTPATH 21 FARNDALE EAST (MERCER’S BRIDGE) DIVERSION ORDER 2015

The above Order, made on 13 August 2015, under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, will divert the footpath heading north from Mercer's Bridge (Grid Ref.SE 678 940) towards Rawson Syke away from the eroding riverbank into the field to the east as shown on the Order map.A copy of the Order and the Order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at Kirkbymoorside Library, Church House, 7 High Marketplace, Kirkbymoorside, York, North Yorkshire, YO62 6AT until 30 September 2015. Copies of the Order and map may be purchased at a reasonable cost by contacting Legal Services, Scarborough Borough Council, Town Hall, St Nicholas Street, Scarborough, North Yorkshire, YO11 2HG. Tel: (01723) 232490 (quoting reference PJM/EC20/222).Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent in writing to Legal Services, Scarborough Borough Council, Town Hall, St Nicholas Street, Scarborough, North Yorkshire, YO11 2HG not later than 30 September 2015. Please state the grounds on which they are made and quote the reference above. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the North York Moors National Park Authority may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
