Herefordshire Council Notice of Making
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council,
as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers,
made the following Order: C1079 From Questmoor Farm To Meadows Farm Via Almeley, Almeley,
Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit
the use by vehicles on the C1079 From Questmoor
Farm To Meadows Farm Via Almeley, Almeley, from
Questmoor Farm to Meadows Farm. Grid Ref: 333302 /
251527. The alternative route for those affected by the
proposal is via Upcott Lane onto the A4111 onto the
A4112 onto the C1080 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to the safe access to
provide maintenance within the underground structure
and the likelihood of danger to the public while the
worksare taking place. The said closure will come
into force on 25th of June 2018 and remain in force
for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended
with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the
works are expected to be completed within 1 day. Any
