Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire
Council, as highway authority, intend, under its
relevant powers, to make the C1113, Bowley Lane, Bodenham Temporary Closure Order 2018 to
temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the
C1113, Bowley Lane, Bodenham, outside Brick
House Farm OS Grid Ref: 3542662 / 253651. The
alternative route for those affected by the proposal
is via the C1126 to Sutton St Nicholas, onto the
C1125, onto the the A417 onto the A49 onto the
A44 onto the C1055 onto the C1110 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to the installation
of a new pressure relief valve works and the
likelihood of danger to the public while the works
are taking place. The said closure will come into
force on 4th July 2018 and may remain in force for
a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended
with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the
works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
