THE M65 MOTORWAY
(JUNCTION 8 WESTBOUND ENTRY SLIP ROAD) [TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2018
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Highways England Company Limited (Company No. 09346363) has made an Order on the M65 Motorway in the Borough of Hyndbum, in the County of Lancashire, to enable resurfacing works including the renewal of road markings, road studs and traffic detector loops, together with other general maintenance works; to be carried out in safety. The Order will ban all traffic from the M65 westbound entry slip road at Junction 8. The prohibition is expected to take place overnight between 20:00 hours and 05:00 hours (continuing to 07:00 hours on Saturday and Sunday mornings), during a period starting on Thursday 5 July 2018 and ending on Wednesday 25 July 2018. However, work may start and continue between the same times on subsequent nights until completed.

Diversion routes via alternative junctions of the M65 Motorway and local roads will be well signed. The prohibition will not apply to emergency services, works, or traffic officer vehicles and will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs.
