ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 (AS AMENDED)

(WOMEN'S TOUR WORCESTERSHIRE INCLUDING PARTS OF GLOUCESTERSHIRE AND WARWICKSHIRE) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS)(SPECIAL EVENT) ORDER 2018

NOTICE is hereby given that Worcestershire County Council (with the consent of Gloucestershire County Council and Warwickshire County Council as respects roads in those counties) have made an Order under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to facilitate the holding of the Women's Tour cycle race through Worcestershire, Gloucestershire and Warwickshire on 16 June 2018. In brief the effect of the order is as follows:-

16June2018therewill berollingroadclosuresastheWomen'sTourcycleracepasses from its start point in Evesham, Wychavon District Area through Gloucestershire and Warwickshire to its finish point in Worcester, Worcester District Area. There are exemptions to restrictions for emergency services, authorised Event officials, safety officials and pedestrian access to premises.

Approximate times of closures in specific areas are set out on the schedule attached

to this notice, but are subject to change at any time.

The Order will be in operation on 16 June 2018.
