The Borough of Blackburn with Darwen

(Martin Street, Chapletown) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2018

NOTICE Is hereby given that the Blackburn with □arwen Borough Council, Intend to make the above Order under

Section 14 (1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the Order is to close Martin Street from its junction with Bolton road to its junction with Hill street.

The closure is neccessary for the following reason: To replace a frame and cover.

The Order will come into force on 29th June 2018 and shall continue in force for a period of eighteen months or until the works are completed, whichever Is the earlier. However, it Is anticipated that the works will be completed by 29th June 2018.

There Willi be no alternative route as this is a dead end.

Access for emergency vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times.
