Temporary Waiting Restriction Hampton Road, Twickenham

(Ref: 18/121)

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate water pipe repairs, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order to restrict traffic in Hampton Road, Twickenham.



2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stand in Hampton Road, Twickenham on both sides from a point outside the common boundary of Nos 13 and 15 Hampton Road to a point outside the boundary of 33A Hampton Road and Knightsbridge House.



3. The order will come into effect on 30 June 2018. The restrictions will be in force from 08.00 on 30 June 2018 until 18.00 on 1 July 2018, with a contingency of 08.00 on 7 July 2018 until 18.00 on 8 July 2018. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.



4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to:



(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;



(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or



(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.



5. The prohibitions will apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.



6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Notice may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

The general effect of the Waiting and Loading Restriction Amendment Order will be to introduce and revoke lengths of yellow lines as set out in the schedule to this notice.

Copies of the proposed Order, plans showing the location and effect of the proposals and the Council's Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order: -

(a) can be inspected, quoting Reference 18/124, at the Civic Centre (Central Reception, ground floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham between 9.15am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays, except for Bank and other public holidays; and



(b) may be viewed on the Council's web-site at http://www.richmond. gov.uk/public_notices



Persons wishing to object to or support the proposals or any part thereof should write to the Head of Engineering, Traffic and Parking Policy, London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, Civic Centre, 44 York Street, Twickenham TW1 3BZ within 21 days of the date of this Notice giving the grounds of their objection. 1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate water main repairs, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order to restrict traffic in The Green, Twickenham.



2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stand in The Green, Twickenham on both sides from a point outside the common eastern flank wall of Nos 58-62 The Green, westwards to a point outside the common boundary of Nos 76-78 The Green.



3. The order will come into effect on 23 June 2018. The restrictions will be in force from 09.00 on 23 June 2018 until 18.00 on 24 June 2018. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.



4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to:

To introduce double yellow lines ("no waiting at any time") across the vehicular access to St Richard's Primary School, between 57-65 Ashburnham Road and on the south-western side of Mariner Gardens for 6 metres from the south-eastern kerb-line of Ashburnham Road.

To extend the existing double yellow lines ("no waiting at any time") at the junctions of Park Road and Clarence Road on both sides by between 6 and 8 metres.

To introduce lengths of double yellow line ("no waiting at any time") in Broad Lane around the entrance to Hatherop Park and on the eastern side of Hatherop Road at its junction with Broad Lane.

To introduce double yellow lines ("no waiting at any time") on the northern side of Cromwell Road from a point outside the rear of No. 4 Davenport Close to a point outside No. 44 Bolton Gardens and in Bolton Gardens at the junction of Cromwell Road.

To remove a length of parking bay outside No 27 High Park Road and replace with, and lengthen the existing double yellow line ("no waiting at any time")

To introduce a 1.7 metre length of double yellow line ("no waiting at any time") outside the common boundary of Nos 93 and 95 Queens Road, East Sheen.

To introduce double yellow lines ("no waiting at any time") at the junction of Nelson Road and Redway Drive.

Temporary Road Closures Hampton Court Road, Hampton Court

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate the installation and removal of a temporary footbridge and other works in connection with the Hampton Court Flower Show they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which is that a section of Hampton Court Road will be closed to traffic on two occasions as set out below.



2. The section of road to be closed extends from the roundabout outside Hampton Court Palace (the junction of A309 Hampton Court Way and A308 Hampton Court Road) to its junction with Campbell Road, Hampton Court.



3. The dates and times when these road closures are anticipated to be in force are:-

An alternative route for eastbound traffic (Hampton Court Bridge towards Kingston Bridge) is via A308 Hampton Court Road (westwards); A311 Church Street; High Street, Hampton; High Street, Hampton Hill; A313 Hampton Road; Broad Street; High Street Teddington; A310 Kingston Road; Upper Teddington Road and High Street, Hampton Wick. An alternative route for westbound traffic will be as above but in the reverse direction. This route is not suitable for vehicles over 15 feet and 9 inches (4.8 metres) high on account of a low bridge in High Street, Hampton Wick.
