In the District of Tendring Notice of Making of an Order (Other than an Acquisition Extinguishment Order) Town & Country Planning Act 1990 - Section 257 Footpath 22 Ardleigh
The above Order made on 10th May, 2018, will divert a part length of public Footpath 22 in the parish of Ardleigh. Tendring District Council have granted Planning permission at Ardleigh Squash and Leisure Club, Dedham Road, Ardleigh to construct new homes which necessitates the re-routing of the footpath. A part length of Footpath 22 Ardleigh commencing from a point west of the carriageway known as The Street and running in a south easterly then southerly, then south westerly direction for 31 metres to a point north west of Chestnut Cottage before running in a generally westerly direction for 67 metres to a point north of the tennis courts, to an alternative route 2 meters in width commencing at a point by the footway associated with the carriageway known as The Street, north east of Chestnut Cottage, and running in a south westerly then north westerly direction, continuing in a generally westerly, then north westerly then generally westerly direction alongside the new private estate roads and behind property boundaries for a total distance of 100 metres to the aforementioned end point.
A copy of the Order and the Order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at Tendring District Council Offices, Thorpe Road, Weeley, CO16 9AJ and at Chelmsford Public Library, Market Road CM1 1QH during normal working hours. Copies are available on request from the Chelmsford Library at a charge. Any representations about or objections to the order may be sent in writing to Robert Lee, Definitive Map Service, Essex County Council, Seax House, 2nd Floor, Victoria Road South, Chelmsford CM1 1QH not later than 5 July 2018. Please state the grounds on which they are made. Please include an email address in your contact information. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Essex County Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent together with the Order. Any such representation or objections will be taken into account by the Council with the result that they may be made available to the public under the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985.
(Castle Road, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) & (Roman Road, Colchester & Castle Road, Colchester) (Temporary Suspension of One-Way) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Castle Road, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 56m south of its junction with Roman Road for a distance of approximately 21m in a southerly direction.
2. To temporarily suspend the One way in both Castle Road, Colchester and Roman Road, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester as detail in 'The Colchester Borough (Castle Road, and Roman Road, Colchester) (One Way) Order 1998' for the duration of the closure.
The closure/suspension is scheduled to commence on 25th June 2018 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03154576754/01 -Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure/suspension is required for the safety of the public and workforce while communication pipe repair works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
An alternative route is available via Castle Road, Roman Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 14th June 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(High Street, Great Bromley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of High Street, Great Bromley in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 40m south of its junction with Furze Lane for a distance of approximately 140 metres in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 25th June 2018 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30034790584 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce to allow new electrical supply to customer works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via Harwich Road, Bromley Road, Clacton Road, Frating Hill, Main Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 14th June 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Holland Road, Little Clacton) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Holland Road, Little Clacton in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 225m east of its junction with Whitegates Court for a distance of approximately 50m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 25th June 2018 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30034790449 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while installation of new supplies works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via London Road, Montana Roundabout, Centenary Way, Centenary Way Roundabout, Thorpe Road Roundabout, Thorpe Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 14th June 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Oxford Road, Manningtree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Oxford Road, Manningtree in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Norman Road for a distance of approximately 46m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 25th June 2018 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ0081000702237 - Cadent Gas). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while laying a new gas service to customer works are undertaken by Cadent Gas. An alternative route is available via New Road, Norman Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 14th June 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Rosemary Road, Clacton-on-Sea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984.
Effect of the order: Closure a) To temporarily close that length of Rosemary Road, Clacton-on-Sea in the District of Tendring, from its junction with The Grove to its junction with High Street, a distance approximately 78m. Closure b) To temporarily close that length of Rosemary Road, Clacton-on-Sea in the District of Tendring, from its junction with The Grove to its junction with Station Road, a distance of approximately 70m. The closures are scheduled to commence on 11th June 2018 for 5 days (closures to run consecutively), or where stated on a valid permit (MT001044117 - Affinity Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while laying four new service connections works are undertaken by Affinity Water.
Alternative routes are available via The Grove, Alexandra Road, Station Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 31st May 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Dudley Road, Clacton-on-Sea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Dudley Road, Clacton-on-Sea in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 220m northeast of its junction with St Osyth Road for a distance of approximately 201m in a northeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 11th June 2018 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2250512 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Coppins Road, Old Road, St Osyth Road, Dudley Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 31st May 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(George Street, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Suspension of One Way) & (Maidenburgh Street, Colchester) (Suspension of One Way, Introduction of One Way & Prohibition of Entry) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of George Street, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with High Street for a distance of approximately 20m in a northerly direction.
2. To temporarily suspend the one way restriction in George Street, Colchester as detailed in the 'Essex County Council (Various Roads, Dutch Quarter, Colchester) (Prohibition of Driving, Length Restriction and One Way) Order'.
3. To temporarily suspend the one way restriction in Maidenburgh Street, Colchester as detailed in the 'Essex County Council (Various Roads, Dutch Quarter, Colchester) (Prohibition of Driving, Length Restriction and One Way) Order'.
4. To temporarily introduce a one way restriction in Maidenburgh Street, Colchester from its junction with George Street in and north to south direction.
5. To temporarily introduce a prohibition of entry into Maidenburgh Street, Colchester from its junction with High Street.
The restrictions are scheduled to commence on 11th June 2018 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC006MU1WBAUSEIBT38TFY06 - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The restrictions are required for the safety of the public and workforce while spine cabling works are undertaken by BT. An alternative route is available via East Stockwell Street, Williams Walk and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 31st May 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
