PROTECTION OF BADGERS ACT 1992 - TB CONTROL Notification of an application for a licence to cull badgers for the purpose of preventing the spread of bovine TB under section 10(2)(a) of the Protection of Badgers Act 1992.

Notice is hereby given that Natural England has received application® and/or expression(s) of interest for licences to cull badgers in the county of Cumbria. This Notice gives the public Opportunity to Comment (OTC) on the potential impacts to their business or livelihoods if a licence application were successful. The OTC is not seeking comments on the Government's overall policy on bTB and badger control, a public consultation on which has previously been held. If you would like to comment on the policy, please contact DEFRA by emailing: defra.helpline@defra.gsi.flov.uk Anyone may submit information they consider Natural England should be aware of when determining this application via completing the online survey by 23:59 18 June 2018.
