Herefordshire Council Notice of Making
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: U71400, Tretire Marsh Lane, St Owens Cross, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U71400, Tretire Marsh Lane, St Owens Cross, outside Pencoyd Court Farm south to the junction of the C1234. Grid Ref: 351773 / 226305. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via U71402 Netherton Lane onto the A49 onto the C1234 onto Tretire Marsh Lane and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to the safe access to renew an existing stop tap works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 20th of June 2018 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
