Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: C1140 From A4103 To Worcestershire Boundary Road, Cradley, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1140 From A4103 ToWorcestershire Boundary Road, Cradley, from the A4103 to the junction at Acton Beauchamp. Grid Ref: 372627 / 247584. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the A4103 onto the U65625 Hales Grittlesend and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to safe access for improvement of the existing highway drainage works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 2nd of July 2018 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 5 days.
