LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON INTRODUCTION OF WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN DEER PARK GARDENS
THE MERTON (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (AMENDMENT NO. 451) ORDER 2018
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Merton, on 6 June 2018, made the above-mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of the Order will be to further amend the Merton (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Order 1977 so that waiting by vehicles (otherwise than for the purpose of delivering or collecting goods or loading or unloading a vehicle for twenty minutes) will be prohibited at any time in the lengths of Deer Park Gardens specified in the Schedule to this Notice.
3. A copy of the Order, which will come into force on 18 June 2018, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order, including a plan specifying the lengths of road affected by the Order, can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Order was made at Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey, SM4 5DX.
4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof, or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

SCHEDULE
Deer Park Gardens
(I) the northern arm,
(a) the south-west side, between the carriageway surrounding the Deer Park Gardens green space and the north-western building wall of Nos. 43/44 Deer Park Gardens;
(b) the north-east side, between the carriageway surrounding the Deer Park Gardens green space and a point 1.8 metres northwest of the north-western building wall of Nos. 49/50 Deer Park Gardens;
(II) the carriageway immediately surrounding the Deer Park Gardens green space, except for 9 metres at its northernmost extremity and 5 metres at its southernmost extremity;
(III) the south-east and north-east sides,
(a) from its junction with Morden Road to a point 4.4 metres north-east of the south-western building wall of No. 130 Deer Park Gardens;
(b) from a point 1 metre south-west of a point opposite the southwestern wall of Nos. 95/96 Deer Park Gardens to a point 0.6 metres north-west of the north-western wall of Nos. 89/90 Deer Park Gardens;
(c) from the north-western building wall of Nos. 61/62 Deer Park Gardens to its junction with the northern arm of Deer Park Gardens;
(IV) the west side, from the party wall of Nos. 29/30 and Nos. 31/32 Deer Park Gardens to its junction with the northern arm of Deer Park Gardens.
LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON INTRODUCTION OF NO STOPPING RESTRICTIONS IN CROYDON ROAD, MITCHAM THE MERTON (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (AMENDMENT NO. 452) ORDER 2018
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Merton, on 6 June 2018 made the above-mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of the "Waiting and Loading" Order will be to amend the Merton (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Order 1977 so that a rural clearway will be created in the road or length of road specified in the Schedule to this notice and vehicles will be prohibited from stopping or remaining at rest at any time in that road or length of road.
3. A copy of the Order, which will come into force on 18 June 2018, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the
Order, including a plan specifying the length of road affected by the Order, can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Order was made at Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey, SM4 5DX.

Croydon Road, between its junction with the Carshalton Road Roundabout and the boundary of the London Borough of Merton with the London Borough of Croydon.
LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
DURHAM ROAD, SW20 (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2018
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate water meter works in Durham Road, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.
2. Whilst the works take place no person will cause or permit any vehicle to:-
(a) enter or proceed in Durham Road, the east side southbound lane, between a point in line with the northern boundary of No. 82 Coombe Lane and its junction with Coombe Lane; or
(b) proceed southbound in Durham Road in the length of road described in paragraph (a) above.
3. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
4. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.
5. Vehicular traffic affected by the one-way working should proceed by way of Spencer Road, Richmond Road, Avenue Road and Coombe Lane.
6. The Order will come into operation on Saturday 16 June 2018 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed within 2 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 1 month and its provisions will be re-introduced should further works be required.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
VARIOUS ROADS (NO. 5) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2018
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate carriageway marking works to be undertaken in the roads specified in the Schedule to this notice, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from waiting in those roads.
2. During the works no person would cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in any of the roads or lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this notice.
3. The restrictions would apply only during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
4. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal
and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
5. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform; or a police community support officer in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.
6. The Order would come into operation on 25 June, 2018 and would remain in force for a maximum period of three months.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON TENNIS EVENT DAYS AT THE AELTC VARIOUS TENNIS EVENT DAY RELATED TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT ORDERS RELATING TO WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTIONS, PARKING PROVISIONS AND TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS DURING THE WIMBLEDON CHAMPIONSHIPS 2018
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton has previously made various "Tennis Event Day" related Traffic Management Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of these Orders will be to introduce various traffic and waiting and loading restrictions and certain parking provisions during the Wimbledon Championships 2018 which will be unchanged from those implemented during the Wimbledon Championships 2017.
3. The restrictions will apply only during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
4. Roads affected by the "Tennis Event Day" restrictions are specified in the Schedule to this Notice.
5. The Wimbledon Championships 2018 dates are from Monday 2nd July to Sunday 15th July 2018, during which "Tennis Event Day" parking and traffic restrictions will apply. However, should the Wimbledon Championships 2018 overrun, the "Tennis Event Day" parking and traffic restrictions will apply on the additional dates of the Wimbledon Championships 2018.
6. A copy of the Orders and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, including plans specifying the lengths of roads affected by the Orders, can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the 16 July 2018 at Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey, SM4 5DX and the Wimbledon Library, 35A Wimbledon Hill Road, London SW19 7NB.
