The following planning applications are those affecting the setting of a Listed Building, a Conservation Area, a Public Right of Way, or major applications and are available to view on our website. Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Traffic Management Act 2004 The County of Wiltshire (Salisbury) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting, Taxi Rank Clearways and On Street Parking) Consolidation Order 2013 (Amendment No. 17) Order 2018 (Previously advertised as 2016) Notice is hereby given that on 29 May 2018 Wiltshire Council made the above mentioned Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act of 1984") and the Traffic Management Act 2004 to amend the following restrictions in the Salisbury Consolidation Order 2013 by revoking Map Schedule Nos. IF83 (Zone h) and IG83 (Zone H) dated 3rd February 2014 and replacing them by the insertion of revised Map Schedule Nos. IF83 (Zone H) and IG83 (Zone H) dated 11th June 2018 the effect of which will is as follows: 1. To introduce No Waiting at any time and No Loading Monday to Friday 8am - 6pm on Stratford Road - north east side - i) from a point 8 metres north west of the centreline of the vehicular access to Victoria Park to a point 32 metres north west of that centreline ii) from a point 10 metres south east of the centreline of the vehicular access to Victoria Park to a point 33 metres south east of that centreline; Stratford Road - south west side from a point 4 metres north west of the centreline of the vehicular access to South Wilts Grammar School, Stratford Road to a point 26 metres north west of that centreline. 2. To introduce No Loading Monday to Friday 8am - 6pm on Stratford Road - north east side - i) from a point 14 metres north west of a point in line with the boundary between property Nos. 8 and 10 Stratford Road to a point 33 metres south east of the centreline of the vehicular access to Victoria Park ii) from a point 10 metres south east of the centreline of the vehicular access to Victoria Park to a point 8 metres north west of that centreline iii) from a point 32 metres north west of the centreline of the vehicular access to Victoria Park to a point in line with the boundary between property Nos. 16 and 18 Stratford Road; Stratford Road south west side - from a point 27 metres south east of the centreline of the vehicular access to South Wilts Grammar School, Stratford Road to a point 4 metres north west of that centreline. 3. As part of this project a Bus Stop Clearway will also be introduced on Stratford Road - south west side from a point in line with the boundary between South Wilts Grammar School, Stratford Road and property No.14 Stratford Road to a point 22 metres south east of that boundary. These restrictions will replace any existing restrictions currently in force in the City of Salisbury. A copy of the Order and plans may be inspected at the offices of Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge during normal office hours. Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in the Order on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant Section of the Act of 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of that Section or of Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act of 1984 or any regulation made under the said Schedule, has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court. The Order will come into operation on 11 June 2018.

Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: (a) Wilton Road, Wylye; from its junction with Dinton Road for a distance of approximately 400m in an easterly direction to enable Wessex Water to change manhole cover and frame. Alternative route via Wylye Road - Langford Road - West Street - A36 - A303 - Dyer Lane -High Street - Fore Street and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 2 July 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for one day. Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: (b) Barford Lane (Part), Downton; from a point level with property "Parsonage Farm House" for a distance of approximately 560m in a northerly direction to enable BT Openreach to access overhead network for customer connection. Alternative route via Barford Lane (unaffected length) - B3080 - A338 - A36 - Southampton Road - Shute End -Witherington Road and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 13 June 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required daily between the hours of 09.30 and 15.30 until 15 June 2018. Alternative route via Old Blandford Road (unaffected length) A354 - A3094 - Old Blandford Road (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 10 June 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for one day between the hours of 08.00 and 18.00. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated durations to complete depending upon weather conditions.
