The following planning applications are those affecting the setting of a Listed Building, a Conservation Area, a Public Right of Way, or major applications and are available to view on our website. Views relating to the planning applications listed below should be made by 28/06/2018 quoting the reference number. A copy of the Order and plans may be inspected at the offices of Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Trowbridge during normal office hours. Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in the Order on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant Section of the above Act or on the grounds that any requirement of that Section or of Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act or any regulation made under the said Schedule, has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court. The Order will come into operation on 11 June 2018.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Traffic Management Act 2004 The County of Wiltshire (Eastern Wiltshire) (Off Street Parking Places) Order 2015 (Amendment No. 1) Order 2018

(Previously advertised as 2017) Notice is hereby given that on 29 May 2018 Wiltshire Council made the above mentioned Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act of 1984") and the Traffic Management Act 2004 the effect of which is to amend The County of Wiltshire (Eastern Wiltshire) (Off Street Parking Places) Order 2015 by introducing Devizes Leisure Centre Car Park to the Order, operating Monday to Sunday 8am to 6pm 3 hours No return within 3 hours free of charge. A copy of the Order and plan may be inspected at the offices of Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Trowbridge during normal office hours. Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in the Order on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant Section of the Act of 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of that Section or of Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act of 1984 or any regulation made under the said Schedule, has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court. The Order will come into operation on 11 June 2018.
Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: (a) Fosse Road (Part), Brokenborough; from its junction with Church Lane for a distance of approximately 80m in an easterly direction to enable Ringway to undertake works to strengthen the bridge. Alternative route via Fosse Road (unaffected length) - Roman Road -Shipton Moyne Road - B4040 - Park Lane - Fosse Road (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 2 July 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 24 September 2018. Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: (d) A361 (Part), Seend; from its junction with A365 to its junction with Bollands Hill to enable Tarmac to undertake carriageway resurfacing work including installation of road markings and associated works. Alternative route via A361 (unaffected length) -A350 -A365 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 11 June 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required daily between the hours of 09.00 and 15.30 until 22 June 2018. This Order will come into operation on 12 June 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required between the hours of 09.30 and 15.30 until 14 June 2018. Without; from its junction with C96 Rodbourne to its junction with Rodbourne Bottom; (g) Rodbourne Bottom, Malmesbury Without;
from its junction with Pound Hill to its junction with C82 Rodbourne Road to enable Wessex Water to carry out water mains replacement works. Alternative route via C96 Rodbourne - C82 Rodbourne Road and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 11 June 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 24 September 2018. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated durations to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Orders will have a maximum duration of 18 months.


Notice of Confirmation Rail Crossing Diversion Order and Definitive Map Modification Order, Highways Act 1980 section

119A, Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 section 53(a)(2) The Wiltshire Council Great Bedwyn 6(part) Diversion and Definitive Map and Statement Modification order 2018. The above Order was confirmed on 23rd May 2018. The effect of the Order, confirmed as made will be to divert the rail crossing on footpath Great Bedwyn 6, east of Church Street, Great Bedwyn, to a location approximately 10 metres south west of its current location. The diversion is necessary for public safety. A copy of the Order and the Order Map have been placed, and may be seen free of charge, at Rights of Way and Countryside, Unit 9, Ascot Court, Aintree Avenue, White Horse Business Park Trowbridge, Wiltshire, BA14 0XA during normal office hours.
