DISABLED PERSONS PARKING PLACES - SCHEDULE 195 The Croydon (Free Parking Places) (Disabled Persons) (No.8) Traffic Order 2018
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council on 04 June 2018 made the above Traffic Order under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.
2 The general effect of the Order would be to:
(a) Revoke the disabled parking places outside No.7 Cumberland Road, South Norwood, outside No.33 Oaklands Avenue, Thornton Heath, outside 56 Howberry Road, Thornton Heath, outside No.3 Milner Road, Thornton Heath, 57 Lyndhurst Road, Thornton Heath, 76 King Henry's Drive, New Addington

(b) Designate new parking places at which vehicles displaying a disabled persons' badge may be left without charge or time limit in:

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984 SECTION 14, AS AMENDED AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS. TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate the installation of power network cables in Factory Lane, they have made an Order the effect of which will be to:
(a) introduce one-way traffic for the duration of works in the street or lengths of streets specified in this schedule;

(b) temporary closure to vehicular traffic those streets or lengths of streets specified;

(c) temporary close any adjoining streets to those specified in the schedule to vehicular traffic where this is considered necessary to facilitate the work in progress;

(d) temporarily introduce parking suspensions or waiting restrictions at any time should this be required;

(e) temporarily remove any weight / width restrictions on Factory Lane or Miller Road;

(f) Any other temporary traffic management measures as required to facilitate the installation of the power network cables.

2 Wherever the work happens to be in progress in those streets or lengths of streets specified in the Schedule to this Notice, no person may cause or permit any vehicle to
(a) proceed in a direction other than that indicated by a traffic sign, or

(b) proceed in any street or length of street which may at the time be subject to a road closure until the completion of the work allows.

3. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction on waiting imposed by this Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

4. During the prohibitions referred to in paragraphs 1 and 2 above, displaced traffic will be diverted via local streets as appropriate.

5. The Order will come into operation on the 07 June 2018 and will remain in force for a period of 18 months.

(Note: The provisions of the Order will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs, Regulations and General Directions 2002. Access for frontagers will be maintained as far as possible whilst the work proceeds).

Schedule FACTORY LANE MILLER ROAD
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS
FOOTPATH N0.599, BETWEEN KINGSDOWN AVENUE AND MONTPELIER ROAD, PURLEY
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIAN TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate building development works, they have made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit pedestrian movements on Footpath No.599.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place no person shall proceed along Public Footpath No.599 which lies between Kingsdown Avenue and Montpelier Road, Purley.

3. Whilst the Order remains in force the alternative route for pedestrians will be via Montpelier Road and Kingsdown Avenue as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 07 June 2018 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 6 months. The prohibition will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS LEIGHTON STREET, CROYDON TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate sewer repair works on behalf of Thames Water, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Leighton Street, Croydon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, Leighton Street will be closed at its junction with Mitcham Road.

3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via Albion Street and Mitcham Road as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 16 July 2018 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 3 weeks. However, the Order will

remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS
MANOR FARM ROAD, NORBURY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC & PARKING
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate a detailed bridge inspection, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements and parking in Manor Farm Road.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-

(a) Manor Farm Road will be closed to vehicular traffic;

(b) Waiting and loading restrictions will apply and parking will be prohibited on both sides of Manor Farm Road.

3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via Norbury Crescent, Mulford Road, Sandfield Road and Norbury Avenue, as appropriately signed.

4. The restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

5. The Order will come into operation on 12 June 2018 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within one day between 10am and 3pm. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate the installation of water mains in Purley, they have made an Order the effect of which will be to:

a) introduce oneway traffic for the duration of works in the street or lengths of streets specified in this schedule;

b) temporary closure to vehicular traffic those streets or lengths of streets specified;

c) temporary close any adjoining streets to those specified in the schedule to vehicular traffic where this is considered necessary to facilitate the work in progress;

d) temporarily introduce parking suspensions or waiting restrictions at any time should this be required;

e) any other temporary traffic management measures as required to facilitate the installation of the water mains.

2. Wherever the work happens to be in progress in those streets or lengths of streets specified in the Schedule to this Notice, no person may cause or permit any vehicle to

(b) proceed in any street or length of street which may at the time be subject to a road closure until the completion of the work allows.

3. A copy of the Order, which will come into operation on 11 June 2018 and of all associated Orders can be inspected from 9am to 4pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, at the "Access Croydon" Facility, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CRO 1 EA.
4. Copies of the Order may be obtained from Order Making Section, Parking Design Team, 6th Floor Zone C, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon CRO 1 EA.

5. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the ground that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
