Essex County Council (Jacksons Lane, Billericay) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Jacksons Lane, Billericay in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Norsey Road for a distance of approximately 328m in a southerly direction.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 11th June 2018 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30034788543 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead line and pole works are undertaken by UK Power Networks. An alternative route is available via Jacksons Lane, Meadow Rise, Valley Road, Hillside Road, Chapel Street, Sun Street, London Road, High Street, Norsey Road, St Andrews Drive and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 25th May 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
