ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Cutteslowe/Marston/Woodfarm Areas Prohibition of Through Traffic and Waiting Date of Order: 29 May 2018 Coming into force: 4 June 2018 This Order is being introduced because of road surface dressing works. Each separate road closure below is expected to last 1 day subject to weather conditions. The anticipated completion date for all the works is the 15 June. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding or waiting in the following roads when appropriate traffic signs indicate: Cutteslowe Area: Carey Close, Cavendish Drive, Five Mile Drive, Foxton Close, Kirk Close, Lakeside, Linkside Avenue, Rothafield Road, Sunderland Avenue (southern access road). Marston Area: Broughton Close, The Link, Salford Road, Rippington Drive, Raymund Road, Ouseley Close, Nicholas Avenue, Lewell Avenue, Haynes Road, Gordon Close, Fairfax Avenue, Cotswold Crescent, Copes Lane, Fane Road, Windsor Crescent, Beechy Avenue.

Woodfarm Area: Bulan Road, Cinnaminta Road, Coverley Road, Fair View, Glebelands, Inott Furze. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative routes are via local roads.

This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner (Ref: T5558/AC)
