ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC IN RELATION TO THE CHESHIRE COUNTY SHOW, PICKMERE AND TABLEYJ ORDERS 2018

Notice is hereby given, pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, that the Cheshire East Borough Council proposes to make orders, containing the following prohibitions and restrictions, to enable the management of volumes of traffic arising from the Cheshire County Show and thereby avoid the likelihood of danger to the public:

1. A speed limit of 40mph to be in force on the A556 Chester Road extending from its junction with the



M6 Motorway at Junction 19 to the Cheshire West and Chester Council administrative boundary between the 16 and 20 June 2018 inclusive;

2. The prohibition of all traffic in Flittogate Lane, Tabley from its junction with Pickmere Lane to its junction with A556 Chester Road from 19 June to 20 June 2018;



3. The prohibition of all traffic in School Lane, Pickmere from its junction with Pickmere Lane to its junction with Frog Lane from 19 June to 20 June 2018;



4. The prohibition of waiting on the following lengths of roads on 19 and 20 of June 2018;



i) Pickmere Lane, Pickmere - throughout its entire length;



ii) Church Street Pickmere - throughout its entire length;



iii) School Lane, Pickmere - throughout its entire length;



iv) Budworth Road, Pickmere - between its junctions with Pickmere Lane and School Lane;



v) Frog Lane, Pickmere - between its junctions with School Lane and Pickmere Lane;



vi) Park Lane, Pickmere - between its junctions with Pickmere Road and Mere Lane;



vii) Flittogate Lane, Pickmere - from its junction with Pickmere Road to approximately 290m before the junction with A556 Chester Road.



The alternative routes for traffic will be as directed by signs/traffic management operatives on site.

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY SPEED RESTRICTION -ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -Marthall Lane, Ollerton

Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic as follows, for repairs to the parapet. Prohibition of traffic - Marthall Lane. Ollerton -Approximately 50 metres either side of Marthall Lane Bridge

The temporary speed restriction will be a limit of 30mph

This order will come into operation on Monday 4th June 2018 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Friday 29 June 2018.
