TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF 500863 WOODBRIDGE LANE, WITHINGTON PARISH, COTSWOLD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council have made an order to temporarily close under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) part of the 500863 Woodbridge Lane from outside the property known as Hilltop to outside the property known as Paddock Cottage for a distance of approximately 60 metres.
The reason for the closure is to carry out repairs to a fire hydrant.
The road is expected to be closed from 4th June 2018 until 6th June 2018. However should it be necessary to continue the closure for longer than this period the Order can authorise the closure for up to eighteen months. TEMPORARY SPEED RESTRICTION AND NO WAITING AND NO PARKING RESTRICTIONS ON VARIOUS ROADS, (CIRENCESTER TOWN) COTSWOLD DISTRICT

There will be no parking or waiting permitted throughout the duration of the event.
The reason for the no waiting and no parking restrictions is to discourage pedestrian drop off and pick up in respect of an event to be held at Westonbirt Arboretum and to reduce traffic congestion and parking on side roads adjacent to Westonbirt village and surrounding area. The reason for the speed restriction is to protect the general public, workforce and event vehicles entering and exiting the event
