Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: U70402, The Knapp, Goodrich, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U70402, The Knapp, Goodrich, outside Bryants Court Cottage. Grid Ref: 357053 / 219109. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1259 onto the B4229 onto the C1260 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to the installation of a new water connection works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 27th of June 2018 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
