Notice is hereby given that Highways England Company Limited has made an Order on the M25 Motorway in the County of Hertfordshire, under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 because works are proposed to be executed on the road. The effect of the Order is to:-
a) impose a24-hour 50mph speed restriction on the anti-clockwise carriageway of the M25 between points 240 metres and 2000 metres south of the mainline railway underbridge south of Junction 18 (A404); and
b) impose a24-hour width restriction of 3.25 metres in lanes 1,2 and 3, and 3.0 metres in lane 4, in the anti-clockwise carriageway of the M25 between points 315 metres and 1050 metres south of Shepherd'sLane underbridge.
These measures areinthe interests of road safety while contractors undertake bridge parapet repair and all associated works. It is expected that the work will last for a currently undetermined length of time starting on or after Thursday 7th June 2018. The Order will come into force on 7th June 2018 and have amaximum duration of eighteen months. The temporary speed and lane width restrictions will be clearly indicated by traffic signs when they areinoperation during the works period.
