Herefordshire Council Notice of Making

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: U71400, Kilbreece Lane, St Owens Cross, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U71400, Kilbreece Lane, St Owens Cross, of Kilbreece Bridge. Grid Ref: 352872 / 223406. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the B4521 onto the A4137 onto the U71208 Garrenhill Road onto the U71207 Collinsbill Road and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to the safe access to repair damage to the bridge parapet wall works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 4th of June 2018 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 4 weeks.
