WORCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL PUBLIC NOTICE Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (C2244 Suckley)(Temporary Closure) Order 2018
Proposed Order: to close that part of C2244 Suckley from its junction with Redcastle
Lane to its junction with Blackhouse Lane in order to facilitate drainage works
by WCC.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected
where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: Blackhouse Lane, C2064 Longley Green to Stocks Lane Alfrick,
C2064 Green, C2064 Malvern Hills Boundary to Longley Green, C2070 Suckley and
vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days Commencing:
18 June 2018.
(A4440 Swinesherd Way, Whittington)(Temporary 40 MPH Speed Limit)
Order 2018
Proposed Order: to impose a temporary 40 mph speed limit on that part of A4440
Swinesherd Way, Whittington from its junction with A4440 Nunnery Way roundabout
to its junction with A4440 Whittington Road roundabout, in order to install traffic
islands, new kerbs and works to carriageway and footpath.
Exemptions: Special Forces vehicles.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 42 days. Commencing:
18 June 2018.
(U62219 Blackhouse Lane, Suckley)(Temporary Closure) Order 2018
Proposed Order: to close that part of U62219 Blackhouse Lane, Suckley from its
junction with C2244 Suckley to its junction with C2064 Longley Green to Stocks Lane,
Alfrick in order to install new drainage system.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected
where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2244 Longley Green to Stocks Lane Alfrick, C2064 Longley Green,
C2064 Malvern Hills Boundary to Longley Green, C2070 Suckley, C2244 Suckley and
vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days Commencing:
18 June 2018.
(C2026 Stanford Bridge)(Temporary Closure) Order 2018
Order Made: to close that part of C2026 Stanford Bridge from its junction with B4203
Stanford Bridge to its junction with C2228 Shelsley Beauchamp in order to facilitate
Severn Trent works.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected
where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2228 Shelsley Beauchamp, C2228 Pard House Lane, B4203
Stanford Bridge and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days Commencing:
28 May 2018.
(Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places)
Consolidation Order 2011 (Variation) Order 2018 [Restriction of Waiting and
Revocation of Prohibition of Waiting on St. Alban’s Close and Peterborough
Close, Worcester]
On 10 May 2018 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which
will be to restrict waiting Monday - Friday 8.30am - 9.00am and 2.45pm - 3.45pm
on the following lengths and sides of road in Worcester:
St Alban’s Close (east side) from a point 10 metres north of its junction with
Peterborough Close for the remainder of its length; a distance of 77 metres;
(west side) from a point 26 metres north of its junction with Peterborough Close for
a distance of 4 metres in a northerly direction; from a point 73 metres north of its
junction with Peterborough Close for the remainder of its length; a distance of
11 metres.
Revoke prohibition of waiting:- Peterborough Close (both sides) from a point
31 metres west of its junction with St. Alban’s Close for a distance of 9 metres
in a south westerly direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil
enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will
contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting
by disabled persons’ vehicles.
The Order will come into operation on 31 May 2018.
A copy of the Order, relevant map and Statement of Reasons for making the Order
may be inspected at Worcester City Council, Customer Service Centre, The Hive,
Sawmill Walk, The Butts, Worcester, WR1 3PB, and County Hall, Spetchley Road,
Worcester, WR5 2NP during normal office hours.
The validity of the Council’s powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may
be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on
which the Order was made.
(Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places)
Consolidation Order 2011 (Variation) Order 2018 [Disabled Persons’ Parking
Place on Vauxhall Street, Worcester]
On 10 May 2018 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which
will be to create a disabled persons’ parking place on the following lengths and
sides of roads in Worcester:
Vauxhall Street (south west side) from a point 81 metres north west of its junction
with Astwood Road for a distance of 6.6 metres in north westerly direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil
enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will
contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting
by disabled persons’ vehicles.
The Order will come into operation on 31 May 2018.
