Gloucestershire County Council intends to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 3/131 Church Lane, from its junction with 400589 Green Lane for a distance of approximately 50 metres in a northerly direction.
The reason for the closure is to install new underground cable.
The road is expected to be closed from 4th June 2018 until 8th June 2018 only or until the works have been completed.

1.The 2017 Order will be varied by the attachment of the Plan annexed to this Notice which identifies the roads or sides of road to which the prohibitions of waiting affect.

This Variation shall come into operation on the 1 June 2018 and may be cited as the Gloucestershire County Council On Street Parking Order 2017 By amending the Plans to (Prohibit the Waiting along Fosseway and its Access Road) (Moreton in Marsh) Cotswold District 2018. The lengths of roads fall within the Town of Moreton in Marsh in the Cotswold District and in the County of Gloucestershire. The usual exemptions will apply to Statutory Undertakers and Local Authority vehicles carrying out duties in exercise of their statutory powers, and also in the case of emergency services vehicles and disabled persons vehicles.

The reason for the closure is to allow for the pruning of trees which are impeding on the highway.
