ON STREET PARKING ORDER 2017 (GRACES FIELD IN STROUD DISTRICT) (VARIATION) ORDER 2018
NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council has made a Variation Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which would vary the Gloucestershire County Council On Street Parking Order 2017 (the 2017 Order) by introducing the proposed restrictions described in the Schedule below along Graces Field in the Stroud District, Gloucestershire.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF 3/347 ROWCROFT (PARISH OF STROUD) STROUD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council have made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of 3/347 Rowcroft from its junction with Russell
Street to its junction with Cheapside for a distance of approximately 130 metres.
The reason for the closure is to undertake works for a new water connection
The road is expected to be closed on 3rd June 2018 or until the works have been completed.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF 41237 BROWNS LANE (PARISH OF STONEHOUSE) STROUD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council have made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close the entire length of 41237 Browns Lane for a distance of approximately 315 metres. The reason for the closure is to carry out Electrical Works.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF FOOTPATH EEA/24 EASTINGTON PARISH STROUD DISTRICT
NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council intend to make an Order to
close temporarily under Sections 14,15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984
(as amended) part of Public Footpath EEA/24 from its junction with the unclassified road at
Nupend, south west of Nupend Farm and running in a generally east south easterly direction
for approximately 450 metres to its junction with Public Footpath EEA/27.
The closure is necessary as the path crosses a development site and must be closed during
construction.
The Order will come into force on the 4th June 2018 and it is anticipated that the public right of way will close on that day until 4th December 2018. After this date if the closure is still required it will be necessary to apply to the Secretary of State for an extension of time. There is no proposed alternative route.

On the 1st May 2018 the Gloucestershire County Council confirmed the above Order under Section 118A of the Highways Act 1980 and Section 53A(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. The effect of the Order will extinguish a length of public footpath as described in the Schedule. A copy of the Order as confirmed and plan annexed to the Order ("Order Plan") may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at Gloucestershire County Council, Shire Hall, Westgate Street, Gloucester, GL1 2TG and Stroud District Council, Ebley Mill, Stroud, Glos, GL5 4UB. Copies of the Order and Order Plan may be obtained free of charge (please quote reference MST/26MBT).The Order comes into force as from 1st May 2018 but if any person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity or that of any provision contained in it on the ground that any requirements of the Act, or of any regulations made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 of the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within six weeks from the date on which notice is first published, apply to the High Court. TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PUBLIC BRIDLEWAY MST/4 STONEHOUSE TOWN STROUD DISTRICT
NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council intend to make an Order to close temporarily under Sections 14,15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) part of Public Bridleway MST/4 from its junction with Brunel Way at Oldends, north of the junction with Oldends Lane and running in a generally north westerly direction for approximately 250 metres to a point just east of Brunel Way.
The closure is necessary to facilitate the safe construction of a new access road.
The Order will come into force on the 4th June 2018 and it is anticipated that the Bridleway will close that day until 4th December 2018. After this date if the closure is still required it will be necessary to apply to the Secretary of State for an extension of time.
The alternative route is via Brunel Way.

The reason for the closures is to undertake fibre installation works. The roads are expected to be closed and restricted on a rolling programme commencing 29th May 2018 where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the closures are in force, further, advance warning of dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the closures and restrictions taking effect. This Order can permit the closures and restrictions of the roads in any order, or simultaneously, as required and it is anticipated all works will be completed by 12th July 2018.
