OXFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL -ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Steventon, Stocks Lane & Causeway Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 21 May 2018 Coming into force: 25 May 2018 This Order is being introduced for testing of the Level Crossings and Rail Electrification works which are anticipated to take until 3 June 2018 to complete. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the following when appropriate traffic signs indicate:
Stocks Lane & Causeway Level Crossing Closure Times
25/05/2018 to 29/05/2018 (23:00-05:00)
29/05/2018 to 30/05/2018 (20:00-05:00)
30/05/2018 to 31/05/2018 (20:00-05:00)
31/05/2018 to 01/06/2018 (20:00-05:00)
01/06/2018 to 02/06/2018 (20:00-05:00)
02/06/2018 to 03/06/2018 (20:00-05:00)

Access for residents will be available via Causeway Level Crossing only during the above times; with the exceptions of the following times where both crossings will be completely closed for safety reasons:
26/05/18 (13:00-13:45) & (15:00-15:45)
27/05/18 (09:00-09:45) & (11:00-11:45)

Pedestrians access during daytime over the Causeway crossing will be via an on-site shuttle mini-bus.
Exemptions are included for the emergency services and for the works, and for access to premises as above.
This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner (Ref T5654/AC)
