LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

(CATLOW ROAD, SLAIDBURN, AND CATLOW ROAD, DUNSOP BRIDGE, RIBBLE VALLEY BOROUGH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2018

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lancashire County Council have made an Order under Section 14(1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic on the roads set out in this notice.

1. No person shall cause any motor vehicle to proceed over the following lengths of highway



i. Catlow Road, Slaidburn from its boundary with The Skaithe, Slaidburn to a point outside of property named Merrybent Hill.



ii. Catlow Round, Dunsop Bridge from a point outside of property named Merrybent Hill for a distance of 771 metres in a Northerly direction.



2. The prohibition will be operative daily from 08:00 hours to 1700 hours from Tuesday 29th May 2018 until Monday 4th June 2018 or until completion of the works within this period.



3. An alternative route for vehicular traffic affected by the closure is via:-



The Skaithe (Slaidburn) - B6478 Chapel Street - B6478 Wigglesworth Road -North Yorkshire -Slaidburn Road, Lythe Fell Road, The Skaithe (Dunsop Bridge) and vice versa.
