Relocation of existing Zebra Crossing – Hill Avenue, Wickford
Notice is hereby given that under Sections 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the
Essex County Council proposes to relocate the existing Zebra Crossing on the following length
of Hill Avenue, Wickford in the Borough of Basildon as follows:

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order
under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 49, 53 and Part III & IV
of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To introduce ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ restrictions on the following length
of Emergency vehicle access to helipad in the Borough of Basildon:

BOTH SIDES: From its junction with A176 Nether Mayne, north
east for a distance of approximately 24 metres to the gates of the
Air Ambulance helipad site.
This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Basildon District) (Parking
and Waiting) Consolidation Order 2008 by substituting tile number TQ705 870 revision 1 to
revision 2.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from
the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Jacksons Lane, Billericay in the
Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Norsey Road for a distance of approximately 328m
in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 11th June 2018 for 3 days,
or where stated on a valid permit (EC30034788543 – UK Power Networks). The scheduled
dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.
roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while
overhead line and pole works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via Jacksons Lane, Meadow Rise, Valley Road, Hillside Road,
Chapel Street, Sun Street, London Road, High Street, Norsey Road, St Andrews Drive and
vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 25th May 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months
or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Church Road, Ramsden Bellhouse)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under
Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Church Road, Ramsden Bellhouse in
the Borough of Basildon, from a point approximately 150m south of its junction with Orchard
Avenue for a distance of approximately 208m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled
to commence on 27th May 2018 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30034788693
– UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs
showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the
public and workforce to allow disconnection of overhead services and install underground
connection to customers is undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via Church Road, Downham Road, School Road, Castledon
Road, London Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 11th May 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until
the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
