Herefordshire Council Notice of Making
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council,
as highway authority, under its relevant powers,
have made the B4224 from Fording Lane to
Jackson Lane, Bromsash, Temporary Closure
Order 2018 to temporarily prohibit the use by
vehicles on the following road: B4224 from
Fording Lane to Jackson Lane, Bromsash, between
the junction with the C1280 and the U70240
Fording Lane OS Grid Ref: 364817 / 224310.
The alternative route for those affected by the
proposal is via the B4221 onto the A449 onto the
A40 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to the engineering
works on the crossing and the likelihood of danger
to the public while the works are taking place.
The said closure will come into force on 21st May
2018 and may remain in force for a maximum period
of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of
the Secretary of State), but the works are expected
to be completed within 3 days. Any queries in
