SOMERSET COUNTY COUNCIL DISTRICT OF TAUNTON DEANE PARISH OF ASHBRITTLE Temporary Closure of Burrow Lane

TAKE NOTICE that in pursuance of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the County Council of Somerset have made an Order PROHIBITING ALL TRAFFIC from proceeding along Burrow Lane from the junction with Heniton Hill Road south-westwards to the county border, a distance of 1800 metres. This order will enable Aplant Lux Traffic Control on behalf of BT Openreach to work safely on an overhead structure in this road. The Order becomes effective on 21 May 2018 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to last for 3 days (09.30 - 15.30hrs). While the closure is in operation an alternative route will be signed on site.
