These restrictions will replace any existing restrictions currently in force in the City of Salisbury. Deposit copies of the Order, plans and Statement of the Council's Reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at the offices of Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge during normal office hours. Details of the proposed scheme may be seen at Salisbury Library, Market Place, Salisbury during the hours of 10am to 7pm Monday, 9am to 7pm Tuesday and Friday, 9am to 5pm Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday until 11 June 2018. Notice of Confirmation of Order - Highways Act 1980 Section 119 Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 Section 53A - The Wiltshire Council Parish of Laverstock and Ford Footpath no. 10 Diversion and Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order 2017
On 12 April 2018, Wiltshire Council confirmed the above order made under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980. The effect of the order as confirmed is to divert the public footpath running from OSGR SU 1579-2975 at its junction with Milford Mill Road at the Medieval bridge, in a south-south-easterly direction for approx 200m to OSGR SU 1586-2956 at its junction with path no.10 and path no. 27 Laverstock and Ford, having a width of 1m, to a line running from OSGR SU 1579-2975 at its junction with Milford Mill Road at the Medieval bridge, in a generally south-easterly direction for approx
180m, before leading south-west for approx 15m to OSGR SU 1588-2959
at its junction with path no.10 Laverstock and Ford, having a width of 2m,
with a mobility kissing gate at OSGR SU 1579-2975 to BS5709:2006 and
a mobility kissing gate at OSGR SU 1588-2959 to BS5709:2006, as shown on the order map and to change the Salisbury and Wilton Rural District Council Area Definitive Map and Statement dated 1953 accordingly. A copy of the order as confirmed and map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at Rights of Way and Countryside, Waste and Environment, Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge, BA14 8JN from 9am to 5pm on Monday to Friday. Copies may be brought there for £5. The order comes into force on 12 April 2018, but if a person aggrieved by the order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 6 weeks from 17 May 2018, make an application to the High Court. 17 May 2018
Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: (a) Barford Lane (Part), Downton; from property Parsonage Farm House for a distance of approximately 560m in a northerly direction to enable BT Openreach to access overhead network for customer connection. Alternative route via Barford Lane (unaffected length) -B3080 - A338 - A36 - Southampton Road - Shute End - Witherington Road and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 13 June 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required daily between the hours of 09.30 and 15.30 until 15 June 2018. This Order will come into operation on 10 June 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for one day between the hours of 08.00 and 18.00. Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: (c) Old Road (Part), Odstock; from its junction with A338 for a distance of approximately 340m in a south-easterly direction to enable Wessex Water to carry out interim to permanent reinstatement works. Alternative route via A338 - Old Road (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order, which previously came into operation on 18 April 2018, will now recommence on 24 May 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for one day between the hours of 09.00 and 13.00. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated durations to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Traffic Management Act 2004 The County of Wiltshire (Salisbury) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting, Taxi Rank Clearways and On Street Parking) Consolidation Order 2013 (Amendment No. 20) Order 2018 Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council proposes to make the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and the Traffic Management Act 2004 to amend the following restrictions in the Salisbury Consolidation Order 2013 by revoking Map Schedule Nos. IF84 (Zone H) and IG84 (Zone H) dated 3 February 2014 and replacing it by the insertion of revised Map Schedule Nos.
